DASH Project 

Funded by Families First, this project provides support to children and young people through providing one to one and group sessions.  

The aim is to help children and young people to understand their emotions and feelings and support them to find coping strategies.  It can help to build positive relationships between parent and child and can help parents to understand the impact of domestic abuse on their child.

Topics covered during the session are:

• Safety;
• Self-esteem; 
• Worries; 
• Managing and coping with emotions; 
• Healthy/ unhealthy relationships; 
• Promoting positive relationships and attachments; 
• Building resilience.
